C’est bien la période où nous confessons que le Seigneur lui-même nous rejoint au quotidien pour que nos jours découvrent progressivement la saveur de la sainteté.
Depuis nos dernières nouvelles, beaucoup d’évènements plus ou moins heureux nous ont donné l’occasion de chanter des louanges (mariage, naissance, retrouvailles, guérison…) ou d’exprimer notre désarroi et parfois même notre colère (maladies, décès, séparation, agression…..). La FLM tente de continuer de témoigner ici et là-bas cet amour gratuit qui nous accompagne sur tous nos chantiers. Nous sommes heureux de pouvoir vous partager cet engagement.
C’est depuis ces terres profondes qu’Hélène assure la coordination de la FLM. Elle fait le lien avec les laïcs polonais, italiens, espagnols et hollandais associés à la SMA. Nous avons rendez-vous, cette année, aux Pays- Bas pour une rencontre entre délégués de chaque groupe.
Au Ghana : Buduburam
Jusqu’ici les équipes se sont succédées pour apporter notre partage aux réfugiés libériens accueillis dans ce camp au Ghana. Nous voilà à la veille de décisions importantes et urgentes. Voici bientôt dix ans que nous sommes engagés dans ce camp et la transition avec autorités locales se passe sans trop de heurts. Pour le HCR qui était l’un des principaux partenaires, la paix est officiellement revenue au Libéria et il n’y a plus de cohérence politique à maintenir un camp de réfugiés à l’extérieur. Leur priorité s’oriente désormais vers l’accompagnement au retour vers le Liberia …. En dix ans des liens se sont tissés entre les hommes. Avec le diocèse, nous participons à une prise en charge locale progressive…
Au Bénin : Gray continue son travail de traduction de la bible et voit son audience s’élargir. Il continue également l’assistance informatique et l’initiation dans les missions qui le sollicitent. Il nous facilite le partage avec la fraternité laïque du bénin avec la famille (Gildas, Anysie, et leurs deux enfants) qui travaille avec Michel Loiret à Kopargo
It is the time when we confess that the Lord himself joins us every day to discover that our days gradually flavor of holiness.
Since our last news, lots of events more or less happy we have the opportunity to sing praise (marriage, birth, reunion, healing ...) and to express our dismay and even anger (illness, death, separation , aggression ... ..). The FLM is trying to continue to testify here and there that gratuitous love that accompanies us on all our sites. We are happy to share this commitment.
It is from these deep soil Helen coordinates the FLM. It links with the secular Polish, Italian, Spanish and Netherlands associated with SMA. We have an appointment this year in the Netherlands for a meeting between representatives of each group.
In Ghana: Buduburam
So far teams have succeeded to bring our share to welcome Liberian refugees in this camp in Ghana. We are on the eve of important and urgent decisions. Nearly ten years we are committed in this camp and the local transition goes fairly smoothly. For UNHCR, which was one of the main partners, the peace was officially restored in Liberia and it is more coherent policy to maintain a refugee camp outside. Their priority is now directed towards supporting the return to Liberia .... In ten years links have been forged between the men. With the diocese, we participate in a local ownership progressive ...
In Benin:
Gray continues his work of translating the Bible and see its audience grow. He also continues to support computer and initiation into missions which request it. It facilitates the sharing with the secular fraternity of Benin with the family (Gildas, Anysie, and their two children) who works with Michel Loiret.
En France ;
Nos engagements personnels se renforcent. Beaucoup d’entre nous côtoient des étrangers, pour des soins ou un hébergement, voire des formations. Cette présence solidaire, un peu à contre courant de notre temps, nous fait poursuivre notre vie de missionnaire laïc.
Nous essayons de garder notre esprit communautaire par nos week-ends de rencontres et nos « minifrat », temps plus fréquents de rencontres en soirée mais aussi en plus petit groupe ce qui favorise le partage. Nos orientations professionnelles différentes (monde de la santé, enseignement, monde agricole…) sont une richesse pour ces partages.
Pierre Legendre (SMA) continue « saintement » l’accompagnement spirituel de notre fraternité, et nous l’en remercions.
A Chaponost, aux Cartières, notre engagement a un peu changé de forme, nous participons à la vie de la maison en lien avec l’équipe de prêtres SMA, nous restons très présents dans l’animation des temps forts, mais les permanents laïcs sont maintenant beaucoup plus jeunes avec un trio étudiant (Pascal, Benoît, Clotilde et Marlène pour 2010), un couple avec un bébé (Caroline, Bertrand et Chloé-Lune) et Fred et Imelda qui assurent encore une année de présence. Lynn (soeur Notre Dame des Apôtres) vient aussi en semaine, renforcer ce groupe.
Enfin il est possible de retrouver régulièrement de nos nouvelles accompagnées de photo sur le blog qu’Hélène met régulièrement à jour

Our personal commitment is stronger. Many of us rub shoulders with strangers, to care or accommodation, or even training. This presence of solidarity, a little against the current of our time, makes us continue our life lay missionary.
We try to keep our community spirit of our weekend meetings and our "minifrat 'time more frequent meetings in the evening but also in smaller group that encourages sharing. Our professional orientations different (world health, education, farming ...) are a treasure for those shares.
Pierre Legendre (SMA) continues "holy" the spiritual guidance of our fraternity, and we thank him.
A Chaponost, our commitment has changed somewhat in shape, we participate in the life of the house with the team of priests SMA, we remain very active in the animation of the highlights, but the laity are permanent now much younger student with a trio (Pascal, Benoit, Clotilde and Marlene 2010), a couple with a baby (Caroline Bertrand and Chloe Moon) and Fred and Imelda to provide another year of attendance. Lynn (Sister of Our Lady of Apostles) also comes in the week, strengthening the group.
