We are glad to inform you of the election of Fr. Fachtna O'Driscoll as the Superior General of the Society of African Missions. He Has been elected for a six year mandate. Fr. Fachtna O'Driscoll was born on February 10, 1954 in the diocese of Cloyne in Ireland. He made his permanent Oath to SMA in 1978 and was ordained a priest in 1979. Until now he is the Provincial Superior of the Irish province of the Society of African Missions.

We wish him all the Best in his work and assure him of our prayers.

 

 

 

Ce matin, la 20ème Assemblée Générale de la Société des Missions Africaines, réunie à Rome, a élu comme Supérieur Général, Le Pere Fachtna O’Driscoll sma, le désormais ex-Provincial d'Irlande, pour un mandat de six ans. La semaine prochaine l’Assemblée élira les membres du Conseil Général SMA.
