Dall'Italia... SMA SOLIDALE ONLUS Alcuni anni fa, P. Luigi Aimetta e un gruppo di nostri volontari hanno costituito SMA Solidale. Era un servizio reso ai padri SMA, alle suore “Nostra Signora degli Apostoli”, ai laici, che operano in missione e con lo scopo di finanziare piccoli progetti. SMA Solidale è cresciuta di anno in anno, e molti amici e sostenitori hanno partecipato alla realizzazione di progetti di sviluppo, salute e formazione, e a iniziative di sostegno ecclesiale. A un certo punto del suo cammino, si è deciso che SMA Solidale adottasse la fisionomia di una Onlus, cioè di associazione non lucrativa a finalità e utilità sociale, riconosciuta dallo Stato italiano. È così che è nata ufficialmente SMA Solidale Onlus, associazione di solidarietà sociale. È uno strumento in più, con cui la SMA continua il suo servizio di promozione umana in Africa. L’impoverimento d’interi popoli, le grandi disparità sociali, le migrazioni, sono alcuni dei grandi problemi del nostro pianeta, caratterizzato da una sempre più grande globalizzazione. Come fare per aiutare veramente chi è svantaggiato? Molti nutrono una sfiducia verso le grandi istituzioni internazionali e sentono anche un certo senso d’impotenza. Ci sentiamo spesso dire: “Abbiamo più fiducia in voi missionari”. La creazione di SMA Solidale Onlus cerca di rispondere a quest’attesa. La nuova Onlus vuole qualificare ulteriormente l’azione di solidarietà con l’Africa, non solo dei missionari ma insieme ai volontari Sma, agli amici, ai sostenitori. Qualificare nelle motivazioni di chi dona, nel metodo di chi organizza la solidarietà. La sua attività si concretizza in: ·       Dare sostegno economico a categorie particolarmente vulnerabili, in Italia e in Africa. ·       fornire aiuti umanitari alle popolazioni africane presso le quali operano i missionari della SMA; ·       tutelare i diritti civili di persone e gruppi svantaggiati, con particolare riferimento agli immigrati, ai richiedenti asilo e ai rifugiati; ·       tutelare, promuovere e valorizzare il patrimonio artistico e storico, in particolare, per la SMA, la Biblioteca Africana “P. Borghero” e il piccolo Museo Africano, entrambe ospitate nella casa di Genova. Oltre la Onlus Ma l’attività di SMA Solidale Onlus, non esaurisce il nostro impegno di missionari di Gesù Cristo, che va oltre l’impegno economico per la promozione umana. Nuove strutture, nuova Onlus, nuove energie per rinnovare la speranza, credendo alla forza rinnovatrice del Vangelo.

From Italy.... SMA SOLIDALE ONLUS A few years ago, P. Luigi Aimetta and a group of our volunteers have formed SMA Solidale. Its aim was to help the SMA fathers, the sisters "Our Lady of the Apostle, and the volunteers, operating in mission, by looking for money, to fund small projects. SMA Solidale has grown from year to year; many friends and supporters participated in the implementation of development projects, health and education, and ecclesial initiatives. At a certain point of his history, it was decided to change SMA solidale into a no-profit association, whose purpose was the social utility, organization recognized by the Italian government through a special legislation. So it was born officially SMA Solidale Onlus. It is a social solidarity Association. It is one more tool with which the SMA continues serving human development in Africa. The impoverishment of entire peoples, the great social inequality, the migration, are some of the great problems of our planet, characterized by a greater globalization. How to really help those who are disadvantaged? Many people have little confidence in the big international institutions and also feel a sense of helplessness. They often say: "We have more confidence in you, missionaries." The creation of Sma Solidale Onlus try to give an answer to this expectation, it wants to qualify the action of solidarity with Africa, not only of missionaries but of Sma volunteers, friends, supporters too. To qualify better the motivations of those who give, and the method of the organizers of solidarity project. Its activity consists in ·       To support vulnerable groups, in order to ensure social protection; ·       To provide humanitarian aids to the African populations where Sma Fathers are present in the missionaries; ·       To assure the civil rights of people and disadvantaged groups, in particular immigrants, and refugees; ·       To protect, promote the historical and artistic heritage, in particular, the African Sma Library “Borghero" and the small African Museum, in Genoa. Beyond the Onlus But the activities of SMA no-profit organization do not exhaust our efforts of missionaries of Jesus Christ, commitment which goes beyond the economic engagement. New structures, new no-profit organizations, new young energy to renew hope, by believing in the renewing power of the gospel.

De l'Italie .... SMA SOLIDALE ONLUS Il y a quelques années, P. Luigi Aimetta et un groupe de bénévoles ont formé SMA Solidale. C'était un service rendu aux pères SMA, sœurs "Notre Dame des Apôtres” et aux laïcs opérant dans la mission, avec le but de financer des petit projets. SMA Solidale a grandi d'année en année, et des nombreux amis et sympathisants ont participé à la mise en œuvre de projets de développement, dans la santé, l'éducation et des initiatives ecclésiales. À un certain point de son chemin, il SMA Solidale c’est transformé en une association, à but non lucratif, d'utilité sociale, reconnue par le gouvernement italien à travers une législation spéciale. Ainsi est né officiellement SMA Solidale Onlus, une association de solidarité sociale. C'est un outil en plus avec laquelle la SMA a pu continuer son service du développement humain en Afrique. L'appauvrissement des peuples entiers, la grande inégalité sociale, les migrations, sont quelques-uns des grands problèmes de notre planète, caractérisés par une mondialisation de plus en plus. Comment faire pour vraiment aider ceux qui sont défavorisés? Beaucoup de gens ont une certaine méfiance à l'égard des grandes institutions internationales et aussi un sentiment d'impuissance. Ils nous disent: «Nous avons plus confiance en vous, missionnaires». La création du SMA Solidale Onlus cherche de répondre à cette question. Il veut qualifier notre action de solidarité avec l'Afrique, non seulement des missionnaires, mais des volontaires Sma, des amis, des sympathisants. Qualifier dans les motivations de ceux qui donnent, dans la méthode des organisateurs de la solidarité.  Son activité principale est de: ·       Gérer des activités pour aider des groupes particulièrement vulnérables afin d'assurer leur protection sociale; ·       Fournir une aide humanitaire a les populations africaines dans lesquelles les missionnaires de la SMA opèrent; ·       Protéger les droits civils des personnes et des groupes défavorisés, les immigrés, les demandeurs d'asile et des réfugiés; ·       Protéger, promouvoir et valoriser le patrimoine historique et artistique, en particulier, la Bibliothèque Africaine Sma "P. Borghero" et le petit musée de l'Afrique, à Gênes. Au-delà de la Onlus Mais la SMA Solidale Onlus, n'épuise pas notre engagement de missionnaires de Jésus-Christ, qui va au-delà de l'engagement économique pour le développement humain. De nouvelles structures, une nouvelle organisation, nouvelle jeune énergie pour renouveler l'espoir, en croyant dans la puissance rénovatrice de l'Évangile.
